Update
I went to the meps station on Saturday to get through all I needed to to see if I can join the army. I passed every single test except according to them I am 3 pounds over. So I can go back the 26th of feb and if I am under those 3 pounds I am in. I also have to get a waiver approved for having so many dependents but because I have 127 college credits they say I will get accepted. So I am still working at it. All is well with my family. I am so glad winter is almost over!! We have had alot of cold and even snow which isnt normal here in nw Oklahoma. Im still working at the crisis center and will give them a notice of 2 weeks if I get accepted...

update
My manbeast got his new government car. He was so sad when he heard they were getting him one because that would mean no more milleage checks for all the traveling he does.Yet his sadness was quickly replaced with a huge smile when he got to go to the city and pick up his brand new car with only 5 miles on it and that fresh new car smell.mmmIts a 2007 malibu he already has my christmas present ( an xm satelite radio in it.)
My oldest Jazzy is busy with cheerleading, basketball and just enjoying 8th grade. My youngest daughter Rose just turned 11. She is still enjoying practicing on her drum pad and writing stories. My son sports guy age 9 is busy with basketball and watching any sports he can on television. The youngest is just busy being 7.
Thisngs are going full steam ahead with me getting ready to join the military. Monday I go to the city to take my asvab test. My max bioody weight to get in is 34 percent right now I am at 34.01 so Im almost there. Were all pretty excited about it. Northwest Oklahoma is supposed to be getting another storm coming through this weekend so today I will be going out to stock up on food.

whew
well I just finished my 24 hour shift at work. That was long, but now I get the rest of the week off :) Plus get paid for a 40 hour week thats not to bad. I went into the recruiters today to get taped and see what exactly I have to do. I either have to lose 6 inches in my hip area or lose 21 pounds. Not sure which will be easier but I can do it. I will do it. I am down 4 pounds since my weigh in last week.
santa must have thought everyone was good this year.
For the family we got a 42 inch hitachi plasma television. Wow the picture is simply amazing. Manbeast and I usually dont watch tv but we have been watching movies just to see how cool it is. Jazzy the 13 year old got an ipod nano which she has been begging for for about a year now. She also got lots of clothes.Rose 10 got her own personal dvd player so she can watch movies in peace and lots of stuffed animals she loves those things. Nick 9 got a nintendo ds and games and boy stuff. The little guy 7 didnt have any big requests this year so he got hot wheels stuff and play sets like army and farm stuff. We had a wonderful christmas. I am glad that its over and I can start working on goals for the new year. Merry christmas :)

big decesions
Hello,
Im the kind of person that cries when I say the pledge of the allegience( sometimes) I have a great love for my country. Im proud of the people in my life and family who have made that great sacrifice to our country. Military life is not easy. I was married into the airforce for 8 years and had 3 of my children in a military hospital. I went into talk to the military recruiter. I can get a waiver for having 4 children because of all the college credits and they have raised the age of joining. The only thing that is holding me back is my weight :( However since we havent ate red meat in almost month I have lost 10 pounds. I have joined the gym and biggest loser.com. I soooo want to do this for myself, my children and my country.I pray that I am worthy enough to be able to serve my country. Ohhh and the 27 thousand that would be wiped out for my student loans.I have 15 pounds to go starting today keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

christmas cards and good people
Those christmas cards, they can be a pain, addressing them, looking up addresses, having to go and get stamps. Sometimes it feels like the last thing a person would want to deal with during this busy season. I guess I have only thought about sending them not thinking will it make the persons day brighter. Well today a christmas card made my day brought much happiness and memories. In 2000 my exhusband had enough of being a father to 4 small children and a husband after 8 years and left for a girl he knew in highschool. I moved back to nebraska scared about our futures. I was a stay at home mom for 8 years. That would be ripped away from me. Daycare? Who would I trust with my children? My cousin introduced me to her daycare lady. I started taking my kids there reluctant at first. This woman Teresa Depuy was awesome she treated my children as her own. For four years she was there second mom. Her family and mine got close her daughter would come home and spend the night with my daughter. We miss them. Today I opened my mailbox and there was a christmas card and pictures of her kids like I said it made my day. I am of course sending her a card back with pictures and a letter of thanks. So I wont look at those christmas cards as a dreded chore anymore, I hope one of my cards will make someone feel just as happy this holiday season.

Manbeast is home and all is right with the world again. Of course he had alot of great stories like he ate good barbque and ate chillis chicken fajitas and went to a mall! When you live out in the middle of nowhere you have to live vicariously through others.lol Im glad he got away. He really did like the home improvement. I think,,, he said he did. Yet my husband is a capricorn and so is my youngest daughter and you know they have this need for perfection. Which is a gift and a curse. So this weekend. He painted a 2nd coat on and taped the side of the wall so the ceiling had no splatters of green on it and the walls had no spallter of white. It looks alot better. Then we have these long blinds and he and I went and bought some beautiful material and got glued the fabric on the blinds wow it looks great. I guess its okay if I am the starter and he is the finisher. Im starting back on the flylady wagon again and going to try and stick with it. Today is clean and clear the counters in your bathroom :)
